Assagao: The Anjuna Legal Aid Cell of V. M. Salgaocar College of Law organized a legal awareness programme on the topic “Motor Vehicles Act, 1988” at Agnel Institute of Technology and Design in Assagao, Bardez, Goa.
The session aimed to spread awareness among students about key provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, road safety regulations, and the legal responsibilities of motorists.
The programme featured Adv. Gideon Noronha as the guest speaker, who highlighted important aspects of the law, including traffic regulations, penalties for violations, and the importance of responsible driving to ensure road safety.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Faculty In-charge Asst. Prof. Adv. Reshmi Sawant and under the leadership of Student In-charge Lawrence Dsouza from the Anjuna Legal Aid Cell.
The session witnessed active participation from students, who engaged in discussions and gained valuable knowledge about road safety and legal awareness.
