Former State President and National General Secretary to Take on Larger Responsibilities within the Congress Party Ahead of Goa Elections

by Samarth Media News

Date: 01st March 2026

I, Ahraz Mulla, hereby officially resign from the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) after 11 years of dedicated service to the organisation.

Having served as State President and National General Secretary, NSUI has been an important part of my political journey, giving me invaluable experience, learning, and the opportunity to work closely with students and youth across the country. As the Congress Party prepares for crucial political responsibilities, including the upcoming Goa elections and the Ponda by-elections, I believe it is the right time for me to take on larger responsibilities within the party.

I extend my sincere gratitude to Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji, Shri Mallikarjun Kharge Ji, and former National President Varun Choudhary Ji for their leadership and constant guidance in upholding the Idea of India and democratic values.

I remain fully committed to the Congress Party and will continue to work with dedication and responsibility towards strengthening the organisation and serving the people.
